Our church exists today because faithful men and women stepped forward in obedience and generosity long before we arrived. Today, God is inviting us to take a step of faith for the next generation. This Legacy Campaign is about continuing a story God has been writing for generations, a story of lives changed, families strengthened, and the Gospel proclaimed. After prayerful consideration, we believe God is calling us to build on the foundation that has been laid and to prepare for what God will do in the generations ahead.

The challenge
Whether you’ve been part of Quay Church for years or you’re brand new, it’s clear that God is growing our church family. We are grateful for every story, every life changed, and every person who walks through our doors. Our heart has always been to be a church where people can encounter Jesus and grow in community. But today, our space is struggling to keep up.
- We have expanded to 4 service Sunday times, and quickly running out of room.
- Parking has become a real obstacle for many families trying to attend.
- Fellowship often spills into crowded areas because there simply isn’t enough room to gather and linger together.
- Our children’s spaces are stretched as more families call Quay Church home.
- Every week night the church is used for midweek ministries.
We don’t want to turn anyone away who wants to walk through these doors. We believe God has entrusted us with this property to steward it well, creating a place where people can worship, belong, and grow for generations to come.

This campaign is not about a few bringing much. It’s about all of us, from the youngest to the oldest, stepping forward in faith together. God is calling every generation of Quay Church to be part of what He is doing now and to leave a legacy for those who follow. True success will be measured not in dollars, but in lives surrendered to Christ, families growing in faith, and neighbors hearing the gospel.

When God’s people unite in faith and generosity, He accomplishes extraordinary things. Just as the Israelites brought willingly to build the temple (1 Chronicles 29:9) and the early church excelled in generosity (2 Corinthians 8:7), we have the opportunity to invest in a future that will bless generations to come.
On November 15th, we will come together as one church to bring our commitments toward the next chapter of Quay Church and leave a legacy of faith for generations to come.
through this campaign we will build:
Construct a new 1,800 to 2,000 seat worship center designed to accommodate our growing congregation. The facility will include a welcoming lobby, adult classrooms, and a centralized family check in area to better serve families and improve the Sunday experience.
Renovate and expand environments for quaykids, creating engaging, age-appropriate spaces while improving entrances, traffic flow, and security for families. As part of this vision, we will convert our current auditorium into a large gathering space for our students ministries once we have fully transitioned into the new auditorium.
Increase parking capacity so every person attending a gathering can park on campus. This will include paving the current grass parking area and improving access and traffic flow across the property.
Retire approximately $2,000,000 in remaining debt from the original construction of our current facilities in 2010. Removing this debt allows more resources to be directed toward ministry and future growth.

FAQ
How does a Legacy commitment work?
Legacy is a three-year generosity journey. We are asking every person and family at Quay Church to pray and ask the Lord how He is leading them to participate through bringing above and beyond their regular bringing.
Some may participate through a three-year commitment, while others may choose to make a one-time gift. A commitment is an expression of your intention, not a legal obligation. We understand that circumstances can change over three years, and commitments can be adjusted if needed.
The heart is for each of us to ask, “Lord, what are You asking me to do?”
Does my Legacy commitment replace my regular bringing?
No. Legacy is above and beyond our regular bringing.
Our regular bringing funds the everyday ministry of Quay Church. As we begin our new fiscal year on October 1, we are looking at an approximately $8 million annual ministry budget supporting our gatherings, quaykids, students, spiritual formation, missions, outreach, staff, facilities, and the ongoing ministry of our church.
Legacy is separate from our regular ministry budget. We want to continue fully funding the ministry God is doing today while making room for what we believe He wants to do tomorrow.
We are committed to transparency and faithful stewardship, and we will release our Annual Report in November, providing our church with a look at the ministry and financial health of Quay Church. Learn more at quaychurch.org/bring
What if I can’t give to Legacy or can only give a small amount?
Legacy isn’t about equal gifts. We want every person and family to prayerfully give from what the Lord has provided and respond faithfully to what He is asking of them.
No amount is insignificant when it represents faithful obedience.
If you are in a season where you are struggling financially or having difficulty meeting your basic needs, we don’t want you to feel pressure to give to Legacy. We want to care for you.

What about missions and ministry outside our walls?
Legacy does not replace our commitment to missions, outreach, ministry partners, or caring for people.
Our regular bringing will continue funding the ongoing ministry and mission of Quay Church, including ministry beyond our campus. We believe expanding our campus will ultimately increase our ability to disciple, equip, mobilize, and send people into Orlando, Central Florida, and beyond.
Our investment in facilities is ultimately an investment in people and our ability to land in the hope of Jesus, launch into our God-given purpose, and live on mission for the glory of God.
What will happen to our current auditorium?
Once we have fully transitioned into the new worship center, our current auditorium is planned to become a large gathering environment for student ministry.
Legacy also includes renovating and expanding quaykids environments, creating engaging, age-appropriate spaces while improving entrances, traffic flow, security, and the overall experience for families.
What are we doing about parking and traffic right now?
We know parking and traffic flow are challenges we need to address now, not just when the Legacy project is complete.
We are actively evaluating both interim and permanent solutions to better manage parking, traffic flow, and access to our campus. We have recently engaged a traffic engineer to evaluate our current operations and help guide improvements we can make in the near term while also informing the long-term parking and traffic plans for our campus.
Are the renderings and project plans final?
No. The renderings are intended to communicate the vision and direction for our future campus, but they are not final construction documents.
We are partnering with Visioneering Studios to help us develop the vision for our campus and guide us through the design process.
The project will continue through design, engineering, estimating, and planning alongside Visioneering and our other project partners. Specific layouts, finishes, configurations, project components, and costs may change as that work progresses.
We are excited about what is ahead and will continue sharing updated plans and renderings with our church as the design becomes more defined.
When will construction begin, and what work is happening now?
A final construction start date has not yet been established, but the work toward construction is already beginning.
We are incredibly grateful that a donor has already provided $2 million to help fund preconstruction costs. Preconstruction is the work required to responsibly plan, design, and prepare a project of this size before major construction begins. This can include architectural and engineering work, site and traffic studies, surveys, civil engineering, permitting and entitlement work, construction estimating, design development, and other professional services.
This generous gift allows us to move the Legacy vision forward now while the broader three-year generosity journey is underway.
Construction may occur in phases based on final design, permitting, commitments received, available resources, project costs, and financing considerations.
Do we have to raise all $35 million before construction begins?
A specific amount that must be received before construction begins has not been established.
Our Elders and leadership will carefully steward commitments received, available resources, final project costs, financing considerations, and the scope and timing of construction as the project progresses.
We are stepping into the $35 million vision with faith and expectation while remaining committed to stewarding every resource God provides with wisdom and faithfulness.
How will Legacy funds be managed and how will we know how the project is progressing?
Legacy resources will be stewarded under Quay Church’s established financial oversight and governance.
Throughout the three-year journey, we are committed to keeping our church informed about bringing, design progress, construction milestones, and how the Legacy vision is moving forward.
Our Annual Report will also be released in November, providing greater visibility into the overall ministry and financial health of Quay Church.
Can I bring through stock or other non-cash assets?
Yes. There are several ways to participate beyond cash, including appreciated stock, qualified charitable distributions from an IRA, donor-advised funds, estate gifts, and other assets.
