quay Students

Quay Students is the middle and high school ministry of Quay Church. We exist to make Jesus known and to help lead students into an encounter with Him in a safe and welcoming environment. We strive to build them up in both their zeal for the Lord and in their understanding of His word.

Every Wednesday is intentionally designed with your student’s age and stage in mind. Select Middle School or High School below to explore what a typical Wednesday night looks like, and to read bout what your student will be learning and discussing each week.

frequently asked questions

what does a wednesday night look like?

Wednesday nights are designed to help students grow in their faith, build authentic community, and have fun along the way. Every week includes time to connect with friends, engaging worship, biblical teaching, and crews (small groups). Whether it’s your student’s first time or they’ve been coming for years, they’ll be welcomed into a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment.

when should my student be dropped-off and picked-up?

middle schoolers gather from 6:30-8:00pm
high schoolers gather from 7:00-9:00pm

Students are welcome on campus from 6:15–9:00pm, but we ask that they be dropped off and picked up during the scheduled times for their Middle School or High School gathering. If your family has students in both ministries, siblings are welcome to arrive early or stay after to ride together. We’ll have a designated space with leaders where they can safely hang out until it’s time for their gathering or for pick-up..

what security measures are in place for student gatherings?

Wake Students attend Passion Camp, an annual conference for middle and high school students. Passion Camp takes place in Daytona Beach for five days and is an incredible opportunity for our students to grow closer to Jesus, as well as one another, while being led in the best worship and teaching there is to offer them. You can learn more about Passion Camp here

what security measures are in place for student gatherings?

The security and well-being of students is a top priority for our ministry team. During student gatherings, the only people on property are our trained and background checked stewards. We also have an excellent volunteer security team and Orange County Sheriff at every gathering.

how can i serve with quay students?

We love that you want to take the risk with us here at Quay Church and become a steward. We call you stewards because we believe that in this house and as a family, we are all called to steward what God has given us – not just in what we bring through our tithe, but also how we give through our time. You can begin the application process by filling out our steward interest form and selecting ‘Students’.
