Our fall audition window will run September 15th- October 31st, and is now open. If you are interested in auditioning to serve as a steward in the Quay Church Worship Dept., please fill out our interest form, and you will be sent instructions and resources for your audition submission.
who can audition for the quaychurch worship dept.?
Anyone who regularly attends Quay Church, has attended a Belong at Quay Church class and has chosen to make Quay Church their church home. You can find the link on our events page to register when a class is available.
what does the audition process look like?
The process to audition for the Quay Church Worship Dept. begins by filling out the interest form when auditions are open. You will then be sent an application to complete, and be asked to submit a video audition.
On the application you will be asked if you have attended Belong at Quay Church. If you have not, you will be asked to attend one of these classes before you can move on to the next step in the audition process. If you have attended this class, our team will review your application and video submission.
If you are asked to continue in the audition process, you will be invited to participate in an interview with a staff member, and then invited to a callback in a live band setting. Our team will review your callback, and will determine your placement within the team. At that point you will be invited to our team’s orientation class, Worship Connect.
After you have completed all of these steps, you will be scheduled to serve as a steward in the Quay Church worship dept.
what do the roles of the quaychurch worship dept. look like?
Our team leads worship in all gatherings across our house including our Wake Middle School, Wake High School, Quay Nights Young Adults, Quay Kids, and Sunday Gatherings. No matter what role, we expect our team to lead with excellence and conduct themselves with a high level of integrity and character.
what is the difference between the quaychurch worship dept. and quay worship?
The Quay Church Worship Dept. is the team of stewards who lead Quay Church’s weekly gatherings in worship. Quay Worship is a music releasing extension of our church that is composed of core artists and collective members. This team is assembled by invitation only.
