New Gathering Times Begin August 30
Over the past year, we’ve continued to see God do incredible things in and through our church. More people are walking through our doors, our morning gatherings are consistently filling up, and we’re regularly using overflow seating to create additional space.
This past January, we added our 5p gathering with one goal in mind: to make room for all God is doing in this house. As we continue to grow, it’s time for us to make another adjustment to help us steward that growth well.
Beginning Sunday, August 30, we’re moving to four Sunday morning gatherings: 8a | 9:30a | 11a | 12:30p
As part of this transition, our final weekly 5p gathering will be August 23.
We’ve loved gathering together at 5p, and while it will no longer be part of our weekly Sunday rhythm, we look forward to bringing back unique 5p gatherings from time to time. These will give us opportunities to gather in special ways throughout the year as God continues to move in our church.
For our regular Sunday rhythm, moving to four morning gatherings allows us to create the greatest number of seats while placing our people and resources where they’re needed most.
Quay Church, this is a good problem to have. God continues to bring people through our doors, and we want to be ready to welcome them, serve them well, and create space for more people to encounter Jesus.
And we believe this is just the beginning.
Be sure to join us for Vision Sunday on September 13, when Pastor Luke will share where we believe God is leading Quay Church and cast vision for the future of our church. You won’t want to miss this important Sunday as we look ahead together with faith and expectation for all that’s to come.
Thank you for continuing to make room for what God is doing in this house. Mark your calendar, choose your new gathering time, help us spread the word, and make plans to be with us for Vision Sunday on September 13.
