SUMMARY:Child Dedication
DESCRIPTION:The word “dedicate” means to set aside or commit to a sacred purpose. The dedication means committing a child to God and God’s purposes. In one sense\, this is what every Christian parent wants to do\, but in another sense\, parents can’t actually make this decision on behalf of their children – as much as they might wish to! Each child will one day have to make his or her own personal decision about whether or not to commit himself or herself to God. Parents can guide\, teach\, pray for\, and lead their children\, but parents cannot choose a life path for their child. So even though we speak of dedicating the child to the Lord\, dedication is really a matter of parents dedicating themselves to the Lord. With that in mind\, we see two primary purposes for dedication: \n\nFor parents\, joined by their church community\, to celebrate the birth or adoption of a child\, joyfully thanking God for this new addition to the family and to the church community.\nFor parents to commit themselves publicly to raise their child in the nurture and love of the Lord\, and for the church to pray for them in their awesome responsibility as parents.\n\nFor this event\, we will have your family recognized and prayed for during the 8:15a Gathering\, followed by a small reception for you and your family members. \nRegistration closes on May 6\, 2026. \nRegister Here

DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to announce Navigate: An Event for the Entire Family.  This three-night family event is an incredible gathering for parents and children birth through current eighth grade to come together each evening. We would love to have you! \nAbout Registration:\nWe must have at least one adult registrant per family.  Please\, no children may be registered without an adult!  Our desire is that this be a time for parents to be refilled and renewed in their God-given roles as heads of their families! \nPLEASE REGISTER YOUR CHILD IN THE GRADE THEY HAVE JUST COMPLETED! \nWhat Each Night will Look Like:\nEach evening will begin with families gathering together for lively\, engaging worship. Adults will then stay in the main auditorium for their parenting talks\, while the kids go to programs designed just for them with skits\, crafts\, snacks\, Bible stories and fun!  Middle schoolers will have special programming with teaching\, fun and friends. \nREGISTRATION IS LIMITED AND WILL CLOSE ON MAY 22ND!\n\nDinner:\nA dinner option is available for all attendees to purchase during registration. Dinner is served from 5:45pm to 6:15p each night for you to enjoy as a family before the event begins. You may add on dinner on Monday\, Tuesday and Wednesday\, with the cost being $20 per person for all three evenings. \n\nMonday: Two Slices of Pizza\nTuesday: Subway 6-inch Sub\nWednesday: Chick-fil-A Sandwich\n\nEach meal includes water and a bag of chips\, along with the main entree. Dinner is only available for pre-purchase and will NOT be available to buy the evening of the event.  PLEASE PRE-PURCHASE IF YOU WANT DINNER! \nAbout The Speakers\nDr. Josh and Christi Straub are speakers\, authors\, and marriage and leadership coaches who are passionate about helping families and leaders grow in emotional health and strong relationships. They lead Famous at Home\, host a weekly podcast\, and have written several books for both adults and kids. \nOur prayer is that families will come away from this week being drawn closer to God\, and closer to each other! \nStewards:  We need volunteers to make Navigate happen\, so that our parents can enjoy the conference.
